Title track and set closer, Summer is a true beauty, with lyrics written by De Heer’s grandfather that were found after his passing, arranged to a gentle, nostalgic Bon Iver-reminiscent melody.

Closing with the dancey They Won’t Know Why, this was a get-together equally enjoyed by the band and those who remembered them.

Tracksuit are juvenile, sure, but upbeat, friendly and undeniable in their ability.

Retorts to one particular punter’s comments were handled with no shortage of deftness and humour, and as he meandered off stage during the excellent Beer Barrel Bar to procure a few pints for his thirsty bandmates, he further endeared himself to an enraptured crowd.
