“It's literally a song that I would've wanted to write. It's one of the ultimate songs for me."

"THERE'S NO PLACE I'D RATHER BE."

In celebration of their new album 'Daughter', Empress pay tribute to the powerful female artists that influenced them, including Australia's own Sampa the Great and British rapper Little Simz.

One-day festival Someday Soon is returning to The University of Sydney’s Manning House on October 21, 2023.

“It's so easy to make a song that will just make kids jump up and down. It's another entirely to be like the artists I love – Daft Punk, Justice, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy – and create something with a real depth to it.”

"I am pulling the brakes on that."

“Any good creative should have the mindset that they’re an eternal student,” says the Australian EDM trailblazer.

The event was also set to celebrate the release of the rapper's new album 'UTOPIA'.

The harbourside festival is back to kick off the summer.

The docuseries will feature hip-hop icons like MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Coi Leray, Latto, Saweetie, Rah Digga, and more.

It comes after the rapper told fans she didn't love them earlier this week.

"But come on, dude. You gotta admit, I rip. And everyone's gonna find out how much I rip right now when they watch this. Love you too, buddy."
