Bryan Adams Adds Extra 'Bare Bones' Acoustic Shows To 2027 Australian Tour

Bryan Adams will perform five special acoustic shows in Australia and New Zealand in early 2027.

A month after Bryan Adams announced what we all thought would be a one-off Bare Bones show for his 2027 Australia and New Zealand tour, he surprised fans with additional acoustic evenings.

The Canadian rocker returns to our shores with his full-band Roll with the Punches arena tour, taking over arenas in February and March 2027. He’ll also perform five special Bare Bones shows.

The excitement begins for New Zealand fans. Tickets are on sale for two arena shows in Auckland and Christchurch, and today, Adams has added two new, exclusive Bare Bones acoustic evenings. He’ll take over the Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday, 13 March, and Wellington Town Hall on Monday, 15 March.

In Australia, the extra Bare Bones shows arrive after his Gold Coast date sold out immediately. Now, Adams will also perform at Hobart’s MyState Bank Arena on Thursday, 18 March, and Geelong’s Costa Hall on Saturday, 20 March.

These shows are the only occasions Adams will present his stripped-back special on his tour of Australia and New Zealand next year. The Run to You hitmaker last brought the Bare Bones show to Australia in 2011, and these are his first intimate acoustic performances on our shores in more than 15 years.

Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets for the newly announced shows on Thursday, 22 October, at 12 pm local time. The general sale opens on Friday, 23 October, at 1 pm local time. Head to the Frontier Touring website for more information.

With the Bare Bones show, Adams offers fans a rare chance to hear his catalogue in an intimate, reimagined setting. Think Summer of ’69, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Heaven, Run to You, So Happy It Hurts, Please Forgive Me, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman, and When You’re Gone, stripped-back.

Along with showcasing his 2025 record, Roll with the Punches, on his upcoming Australian and New Zealand run, Adams recently shared details of his forthcoming album, How’s It Goin’, set for release on Friday, 6 November, via BAD Records.

How’s It Goin’ is the singer’s deeply personal love letter to Canada, drawing on country, folk, and rock influences.
