"Don't have money, then get a job. Don't have a job, then go get one."
The under 18 dance music festival Good Life has told its punters to enter the workforce to afford their tickets, rather than asking on their social media accounts.
The Future Music spin-off, which this year will be headlined by Deadmau5, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Hardwell, has taken to Facebook to post, “People who ask/beg for FREE tickets will never ever win anyway. Spamming our wall with your sob story is not a fun/productive/exciting comment.”
They added, “Don't have a ticket? Then go buy one. Don't have money, then get a job. Don't have a job, then go get one. Maccas, Coles, Paper route, wash cars… what do all these things have in common… The managers of good life did all these jobs before they were even 18. No shame in hard work!”
An hour before posting that message the festival had told fans that they will be giving away 10 free tickets to people who posted on their page once they hit 10,000 fans.

“I want tickets for me and my friends but I can't afford them,” one fan wrote, to which the festival responded, “Have you considered getting a job?”
“Yeah I have one but parents won't let me touch the money 'cause it's in a savings account,” the punter replied.
The festival, which also feature Kerser, Rudiments, Knife Party and Kaskade, will kick off Friday 28 February 2014 in Brisbane, before visiting Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. Tickets are on sale now.
