"Guys, you can’t do this to me! Too early to cry."

More DMA'S More DMA'S

The Wiggles reunited with some old-school fans on the weekend at Falls Festival in Byron Bay and celebrated the reunion on social media with a throwback pic.

Posting to Instagram yesterday (Jan 3), the Fruit Salad singers wrote: "How cool is this?! One of the very first Wiggles shows in 1991 was held at a Sydney preschool, back when Murray and Anthony were early childhood educators.

"And in attendance that day was a very young Mason from DMAs!

"Fast forward 32 years and everyone reunites after sharing the stage at Falls Festival."

In the top image from 1991, you can see Murray and Anthony posing for a photo with three young boys, one of them being Matt Mason from the incredibly popular band DMA'S

The Wiggles and Mason recreated the picture backstage at Falls Festival, celebrating their incredible careers and the fact that they share the same stage 32 years later.

Comments under the post are flooding in, with many fans noting the serendipity of their reunion.

One fan commented, "Absolute Kings."

While another said, "Guys, you can’t do this to me! Too early to cry."

The Wiggles were founded in 1991 after Anthony Field received his degree in early childhood education. He gathered Jeff Fatt from a previous band, The Cockroaches, and brought in Murray Cook, Greg Page, and Phillip Wilcher. Today, they're one of the most successful Australian bands, building an empire that has lasted well over 30 years.

Matt Mason founded the DMA'S in 2012 with fellow members Johnny Took and Tommy O'Dell. The three-piece rock band gained popularity after the release of their debut single, Delete. Their self-settled EP was released in 2014. Their latest release, titled I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You, was released in 2022.

On the new EP, Took said: "This EP was in the natural trajectory that you can sometimes take in a band. You work with different producers, and you want to keep changing, but there’s also something in your core that pulls you back. It’s cool to get back to your roots sometimes."
