'Thick As Thieves' claims another top prize
The latest offering from Melbourne favourites The Temper Trap, Thick As Thieves, has shot to the top of the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts to debut at #1.
The solid placing from their comeback record follows the band's second consecutive #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart over the weekend, proving their fan base is as loyal as ever, not faulting since the release of their 2012 self-titled hit.
Thick As Thieves knocked last week’s #1, Jimmy Barnes’ Soul Searchin’, down to second place and Flume’s Skin to #3, with the latter artist still dominating the albums and singles charts with numerous release.
Over on the Singles Chart, Tassie punk rock buzz act Luca Brasi make a new entry with the Poison City released Anything Near Conviction landing at #14 while their lasted album, If This Is All We're Going to Be, re-enters the Albums Chart (#10).
