vSpy vSpy Reveal 2026 Australian Tour Dates

vSpy vSpy are hitting the road this spring to commemorate not just one, but two of their seminal albums.

Aussie rockers vSpy vSpy, also known as Spy vs. Spy or SPY v SPY, are hitting the road this spring to commemorate not just one, but two of their seminal albums.

Celebrating the 40th anniversaries of their albums Harry’s Reasons and A.O. Mod. TV. Vers., released in February and December of 1986, respectively, the band will tour this October and November.

The tour begins at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Friday, 9 October. It continues at Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Saturday, 10 October, Sydney’s The Juniors Kingsford on Friday, 16 October, Brisbane’s Roma Street Parklands – supporting Sunnyboys as part of 4ZZZ’s ZED51 celebrations – on Friday, 23 October, and concludes at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Monday, 2 November (Melbourne Cup public holiday eve).

The vSpy vSpy pre-sale commences on Tuesday, 7 July, at 4 pm local time, followed by the general sale on Thursday, 9 July, at 10 am local time. Fans seeing the band with Sunnyboys in Brisbane can also find ticketing information here. You can secure tickets here.

Harry’s Reasons was released via Midnight Oil’s Powderworks label in February. A.O. Mod. TV. Vers. followed in December, released on WEA, and spawned a gold award and peaked at #12 in Australia. The latter was home to the hit single, Don’t Tear It Down.

For the tour, vSpy vSpy will perform some songs for the first time in 35 years. To coincide with the shows, both albums will be reissued on limited coloured vinyl – the only recordings from that era to have a modern release.
