Plus strong single debuts from Ziggy Alberts and Client Liaison
Veteran Newcastle hard rockers The Screaming Jets have scored a #2 album on debut on the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts with Chrome, their first long-player in eight years.
The release comes ahead of the band's upcoming tour of Queensland and New South Wales, which kicks off at Noosaville's Villa Noosa Hotel on the Sunshine Coast this Friday, 20 May.
Chrome is the sole newcomer to the album chart, with Sia's This Is Acting (#1) and 1000 Forms Of Fear (#5), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's Nonagon Infinity (#3) and The Cat Empire's Rising With The Sun (#4) completing the top five.
King Gizzard are enjoying a strong week, in fact, with the return to the chart of their 2015 full-length, Paper Mache Dream Balloon, coming in at #20. There are also album chart re-entries for folk troubadour Ziggy Alberts' Land & Sea and retro synth-poppers Client Liaison's self-titled EP, which come in at #18 and #19, respectively.

In the singles, Alberts and Client Liaison continue their fine form by picking up chart debuts. Alberts' Four Feet In The Forest EP comes in at #5 and Client Liaison's World Of Our Love claims #17.
Aside from Alberts' strong showing, the top five remains unchanged from last week, with Flume's Say It (feat. Tove Lo) and Never Be Like You (feat Kai) coming in at #1 and #3, respectively, Sia's Cheap Thrills at #2 and The Temper Trap's Fall Together at #4. Meanwhile, at the cutoff, the band's 2009 mega-hit Sweet Disposition once again re-enters the singles chart at #20 to rack up its 172nd week on the ladder.
