"I cannot go out on the road, until I’m 100% confident that I can pull it off.”
Fans were left reeling after Ozzy Osbourne called off a North American tour this year due to "various health reasons", but the heavy music icon is adamant the shows have only been postponed, not cancelled.
The recent announcement comes after the 71-year-old singer postponed all of his 2019 dates, with a statement saying at the time that Osbourne was recovering from an "injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. Ozzy fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery".
Osbourne was also forced to cancel his Australian headline sets at the 2019 Download Festival events after he was hospitalised with pneumonia.
In a new interview with Radio.com, the Black Sabbath legend said the 2020 shows have only been "postponed".
“I cannot go out on the road, until I’m 100% confident that I can pull it off," he said.

“If I go out now and I can’t carry on, people are gonna think I’ve lost the plot, ya know.
"So I’m not gonna go out there until I can give them the show that I want to give them, because it’s not fair to them.”
Osbourne's 12th studio album, Ordinary Man, is out tomorrow.
