The Leap Year announce vinyl re-issue
Available on vinyl for the first time and shipping immediately, first pressing limited to 264 copies all hand-numbered! Almost 4 years since it's original release, The Leap Year debut album With A Little Push, A Pattern Appears was a record I expected to largely go unnoticed. Instead, the album was a retail success, quickly selling out at stores across the country. It was at this point Hobbledehoy's fastest selling release. The four friends from Perth have since gone on supporting international heavyweights Spoon, Low, Swervedriver and more. While the CD is now long out of print and we anxiously await their second full-length, it seems only fitting to give this record a new life on vinyl LP. Poison City to release Luca Brasi LP
Poison City are proud to announce a special 12" vinyl release of Luca Brasi's forthcoming debut album, 'Extended Family'. Despite only being together since early 2010, Tasmania's Luca Brasi have already garnished a reputation for injecting fun, recklessness and youthful enthusiasm back into an often sterile and unimaginative punk-rock scene. Produced by Nic White and Linc Le Fevre (The Scandal, Ride The Tiger) and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side NY, 'Extended Family' is a refreshing and mature take on the melodic-punk sound pioneered by the likes of Lifetime and Jawbreaker. 'Extended Family' LP is due out September 26th via Poison City Records. Limited Edition colour vinyl preorder available late July.
