Are you ready to get down with the sickness? That’s what social media videos teased yesterday (26 October), and now it’s official: Disturbed are returning to Australia and New Zealand in 2027 for a massive headline tour.

Across seven shows, the American heavy metal band will celebrate their seminal debut album, The Sickness, by playing it in its entirety, alongside a set of greatest hits.

While the band co-headlined the 2024 edition of Knotfest Australia with Pantera, these shows mark Disturbed’s first headline dates in the region in over a decade.

The tour begins in New Zealand, with the band taking over Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday, 22 April, and Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Saturday, 24 April. Following the New Zealand dates, they head to Australia.

The Australian shows begin at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 28 April. They continue at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on Saturday, 1 May; the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday, 3 May; Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 5 May; and conclude at Perth’s RAC Arena on Sunday, 9 May.

The band’s most recent album, Divisive, was released in 2022. The album peaked at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart upon its release. In the US, it landed at #3 on the Album Sales Chart, #3 on the Rock Album Chart, #1 on the Alternative Albums Chart, and #13 on the Billboard 200.

Last February, Disturbed unveiled the single I Will Not Break, which reached #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, marking their 19th #1 on the chart, and frontman David Draiman teased more new music.
