More Disturbed Disturbed Profile

Are Disturbed plotting a return to Australia and New Zealand? It seems that way, after a number of arena venues shared teasers today (26 October).

Sydney’s Afterpay Arena, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Perth’s RAC Arena, and Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, have all shared videos on social media today suggesting Disturbed is taking over the venues.

The teasers, referencing the band’s 2000 hit Down with the Sickness, mention each city and ask, “Are you down with The Sickness?”

At the time of publication, no other information is available, but with venues sharing videos like these, it’s safe to assume that a tour announcement will arrive imminently. Check out the teasers below.

Disturbed last visited Australia in March 2024, when they co-headlined Knotfest with Pantera. They performed at the festival in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane and played sideshows in Adelaide and Auckland. However, their last headline tour in both countries took place in 2016.

The band’s most recent album, Divisive, was released in 2022. The album peaked at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart upon its release. In the US, it landed at #3 on the Album Sales Chart, #3 on the Rock Album Chart, #1 on the Alternative Albums Chart, and #13 on the Billboard 200.

Last February, Disturbed unveiled the single I Will Not Break, and frontman David Draiman teased more new music.

Last year, Disturbed embarked on a 25th anniversary tour celebrating The Sickness across America, locking in a 34-date run of shows with supports including Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Daughtry, and Nothing More.

After concluding their The Sickness run of shows in Europe last October, Disturbed announced they’d take a break from touring this year, playing only two shows in July.
