This Providence have confirmed they'll be hitting the studio in February to record a new album.

After internet rumours of the band breaking up, drummer Jonathon Diener has posted on Tumblr setting things straight and discussing new Swellers album plans.

The Carrier, previously signed to Deathwish Inc., have announced that they will be breaking up following a European tour and last show in Boston, all to take place in March.The band released the following statement:Hi Everyone,We saw that there were some rumors floating around about us, and figured that now is probably the best time to clear the air:It's with very mixed emotions that we announce that The Carrier will be breaking up this upcoming March. There are a lot of reasons that have led us to this decision, and it wasn't an easy one. But ultimately, we all share a mutual feeling that we're transitioning into different chapters in our lives—personally and musically. The overall mood of the band has changed profoundly since we first started, and frankly, we can't continue to put forth the passion that we once had.

The Used are currently streaming the first single from their new album, 'Vulnerable,' which will be released on March 27 via Anger Music Group/Hopeless.

According to news reports, Adam Warren, frontman for Chicago deathcore outfit Oceano has left the band. Warren, reportedly cites family priorities as the reason for his departure, with online posts reporting Warren saying the following recently:
