Robbie Williams ProfileRobbie Williams fans have plenty to look forward to as his upcoming Australian tour approaches.
Today, it’s been announced that immersive pop-up stores called Shoppie Williams will take over Melbourne and Sydney next month. The concept lets fans step inside the singer’s mind through art, fashion, music, memorabilia, soccer, and his sense of humour.
Shoppie Williams stores will be located at Commercial Road, Prahran, Melbourne, from Sunday, 1 to Wednesday, 11 November, and at Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney, from Saturday, 7 to Saturday, 14 November.
The stores will showcase original artworks from Williams’ Moco Art Exhibition: Radical Honesty, presented in Australia for the first time. The Inklings & Thinklings collection will feature drawings and musings from the singer, along with clothing from his fashion line, Hopeium, exclusive merchandise, vinyl, and other memorabilia.
Plus, fans who visit the stores may even win tickets to attend his shows, as the Shoppie Williams locations will host daily in-store ticket giveaways for his upcoming tour. Sign up here for a reminder to visit the stores.
Williams’ BRITPOP World Tour touches down in Australia next month. The shows begin at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, 7 November, then continue to Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Sydney’s Accor Stadium, Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium, and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
Following his Australian dates, Williams heads to New Zealand, taking over Auckland’s Eden Park and Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium. Head to the Frontier Touring website for more ticketing information.
Before the tour officially begins, Williams will make a special appearance at this year’s Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 3 November. He returns to Australia after headlining the 2022 AFL Grand Final and touring Down Under in 2023.
Williams is touring in support of his latest album, BRITPOP, surprise-released in January. Featuring collaborations with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Supergrass’ Gaz Coombes, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, pop duo Jesse & Joy, and his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, the album is his love letter to the Britpop era of the ‘90s.
