This week sees some of the most exciting names in Australian music heading to The Gasometer Hotel in Naarm/Melbourne to take part in the return of Live Nation’s renowned music discovery series, Ones To Watch.

Ever since it first launched in the US, Ones To Watch has been instrumental in bringing some of the biggest names to greater heights, including the likes of Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Halsey.

In Australia though, Ones To Watch has given a platform to names like Teenage Joans, Forest Claudette, J-MILLA, Sophisticated Dingo, Carla Wehbe, and much more.

For its first edition of Ones To Watch in 2025, Live Nation is bringing together a trio of talented names for a huge night at The Gasometer.

Hosted by Tait McGregor, the event will feature the likes of charismatic Central Coast songwriter Fletcher Kent, who has been turning heads thanks to his captivating vocals and stellar tracks like I'll Be.

There's also dynamic Sydney pop artist Salty, who draws inspiration from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen, and Lady Gaga to make smart pop that's as catchy as it is euphoric.

Last but not least, we also have Lotte Gallagher, a rare talent who first rose to fame through triple j's Unearthed High competition thanks to a sound reminiscent of names like Phoebe Bridgers and Angie McMahon.

Tracks like her 2023 debut Adam have scored massive airplay, leading to some impressive signings with the likes of Liberation Records, Lonely Lands Agency, and Mushroom Group. More recently, in October, Gallagher released her debut EP, A Better Feeling, to widespread acclaim.

With such an impressive list of achievements to her name, and with a nascent status as one of the Ones To Watch, it seemed more than appropriate to pick Gallagher’s brain about the artists she thinks we need to be watching.
