Split Enz Add Brisbane Show To 2026 Australian Tour

Following the cancellation of this year’s Bluesfest, Split Enz have added a Brisbane show to their itinerary. In addition to that event, the New Zealand rockers have announced another two shows in their home country due to demand.

“Like everyone else affected, we were extremely disappointed to learn that the 2026 Byron Bay Blues Festival had been cancelled,” the band shared on social media today. “We are now delighted to be able to announce a Brisbane show on May 16 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.”

They continued, “Brisbane has always been a very important part of the Split Enz story, and we hope our fans will be as excited by this announcement as we are.”

The band also added dates in New Zealand. Split Enz will perform at Hamilton’s Claudelands Arena on Saturday, 2 May, followed by a stop at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Monday, 4 May, joining their sold-out and selling-fast shows in Wellington and Auckland.

The band’s Australian tour commences at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 13 and Thursday, 14 May, followed by the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 16 May, Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre (ICC Sydney) on Monday, 18 and Tuesday, 19 May, Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday, 22 May, and concludes at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday, 25 May.

Split Enz reunited for the first time in 18 years last month, when they headlined Electric Avenue festival in Christchurch. The band’s live line-up features Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner and Noel Crombie, plus Matt Eccles on drums and James Milne on bass.
