Thanks for the memories.
After a solid six years together, indie-rock outfit Loon Lake have sadly announced that they are splitting up.
In a prepared statement shared on the band's Facebook page, the Melbourne quintet stressed that they are breaking up on good terms.
"There is no fall out, no drama here, It’s just over and it was fun while it lasted," the statement read.
"We are very, very proud of what we have achieved over the last 6 years, to be honest, we never really set out to achieve anything except have a bit of fun, but even in our wildest dreams, we couldn't imagine it would be this fun."

"Loon Lake isn't breaking up, we are just winding up. We are all still best mates and that wont change. Our reasons are simply that we feel like we may have run our course, we probably won't ever be much more than we are and with everyone doing different things, living in different places, it’s pretty hard to keep it going."

To coincide with the announcement, Loon Lake have announced a national farewell tour to kick off in October that will see them perform shows in Western and Southern Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
Not only will the farewell shows give fans the final chance to see the band perform live, but it will also mark the first and only time that Loon Lake will get to perform new tracks which from their forthcoming album.
As an added bonus, those who pre-buy tickets for the show will receive a download of the new record in late September.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from Loon Lake's website — for more details, head to theGuide.
