And plot twist: they take on Whannell's upcoming film, 'The Invisible Man'.

The Recovery 'We Love The '90s' bushfire relief fundraiser hit Melbourne last night and with it was the comeback of a much-loved segment.

Former Recovery hosts Dylan Lewis, Jane Gazzo and Leigh Whannell took over Spotted Mallard in Brunswick for the evening, marking the first time the three have worked together since they finished on the show.

As part of the night, Whannell - who is now a highly regarded director - brought back his film review segment, this time seeing he and Lewis take on his upcoming film The Invisible Man. Check out the footage below.

The evening saw appearances from Jebediah's Kevin Mitchell, DJ JNett, Jodie J Hill and, of course, The Enforcer.

All funds raised from the night will go to The Fire Relief Fund For First Nations Communities and Wildlife Victoria.

Gazzo and Lewis have recently launched their new music show, Recovered. Find out more about it here.
