La DisputeConceptual indie rockers La Dispute will return to Australia and New Zealand this October, and the majority of dates announced today are all-ages.
The tour begins at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, 16 October. The fun continues at Frankston’s Singing Bird on Sunday, 18 October, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Monday, 19 October, Adelaide’s The Gov on Wednesday, 21 October, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Friday, 23 October, Newcastle’s King Street Bandroom on Saturday, 24 October, and concludes at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 25 October.
Following their Australian dates, the Michigan post-hardcore band will conclude the run in New Zealand, performing at Wellington’s Meow on Tuesday, 27 October, and Auckland’s Hollywood on Wednesday, 28 October.
Only the 170 Russell show is 18+, while every other show is licensed all ages or requires a guardian.
Discussing the importance of all-ages tours, vocalist Jordan Dreyer explained, “All of us were underage when we first started going to local shows at home in West Michigan, and still, when attending them pushed us to start writing music together and playing our own.
“Without venues that were accessible to us, both as attendees and performers, the entire endeavour might’ve died on the vine, and we’d have lost out not only on an important creative outlet as young people, but a welcoming community too.

“Understanding that possibility, it’s been a priority always to keep our doors open to all comers where possible, so that anyone—including (or especially, really) younger people—have the same opportunities afforded to us at a crucial age.”
Mastercard cardholders can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 18 February, at 9 am local time. The My Live Nation members pre-sale follows, opening on Thursday, 19 February, at 9 am local time.

La Dispute are touring in support of their latest album, No One Was Driving The Car, released in September 2025. The first album entirely produced by the band, it was recorded in locations including Grand Rapids and Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines.
The album explores malaise in the face of looming apocalypse. The title was inspired by a quote from a police officer that Dreyer read in a news article detailing a fatal self-driving Tesla crash.
Such an absurd, sad event inspired the questions throughout the album about the control we have over our own lives. Meanwhile, Dreyer’s vocals are primal as the guitars, drums and bass are refined and sharp as ever.
