Hilltop HoodsIt’s been over a month since Hilltop Hoods announced that they were auctioning rare, personal items from the vault. And now, they’ve revealed how much money was raised.
At the beginning of their Never Coming Home Australian tour, the hip-hop trio launched an online auction offering fans the chance to buy signed merchandise, memorabilia, rarities, and other one-of-a-kind items.
All money raised from the auctioned items has gone to the not-for-profit South Australian charity, Lion Hearts Learning. The organisation supports children and families impacted by cancer, as well as children with low immunity following health challenges. The group explained that choosing Lion Hearts Learning was personal for them at the time.
On Thursday (27 March), Hilltop Hoods revealed that the auction raised $95,000 for Lion Hearts Learning.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in the auction that we ran in collaboration with Lion Hearts Learning. Together we’ve raised an amazing $95,000!” the trio wrote on social media.
They continued, “Lion Hearts Learning can now open a new Playgroup/Preschool in the north of Adelaide, giving so many more children in need access to their services.

“This means more children supported, more families connected, and more moments of joy, learning and belonging for those facing cancer and serious health challenges.”

Items that were sold at the auction included a 2008 Big Day Out banner, Suffa’s The Great Expanse Platinum plaque, a rare, signed Back Once Again green vinyl, DJ Debris’ signed Rane DJ mixer (which features in the Cosby Sweater music video) plus signed box sets, vinyl, and clothing, as well as collaborations with shoe brands DCs, Zoo York, and G Shock.
Speaking on their collaboration with Lion Hearts Learning last month, Suffa said, “Lion Hearts Learning does incredible work in the community.
“Unfortunately, a lot of families have been impacted by childhood cancer, including Pressure’s, so we’re grateful to be able to help fundraise for a very worthy charity.”
Hilltop Hoods wrapped their expansive Never Coming Home arena tour last week. The trio were touring in support of their latest album, last year’s Fall From The Light.
Upon its release, the album broke multiple ARIA Chart records, debuting at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, Australian Artist Album Chart, Hip-Hop Album Chart, and Vinyl Chart. Fall From The Light marked Hilltop Hoods’ sixth consecutive and seventh overall #1 ARIA Album.
