Hilltop Hoods are taking their rare, private haul of merchandise to auction in support of the children’s cancer charity, Lion Hearts Learning.

The Cosby Sweater hitmakers just kicked off their massive Never Coming Home arena tour in Hobart, and ahead of their hometown shows at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, announced that they’ve been busy rummaging through garages and personal archives to host an online auction of rare merchandise.

Lion Hearts Learning is a South Australian-based charity. With the auction, Hilltop Hoods are looking to raise essential funds in support of children and their families impacted by cancer.

“Lion Hearts Learning does incredible work in the community,” Suffa explained. “Unfortunately, a lot of families have been impacted by childhood cancer, including Pressure’s, so we’re grateful to be able to help fundraise for a very worthy charity.”

Merchandise items include a 2008 Big Day Out banner, Suffa’s The Great Expanse Platinum plaque, a rare, signed Back Once Again green vinyl, DJ Debris’ signed Rane DJ mixer – which features in the Cosby Sweater music video – plus signed box sets, vinyl, and clothing, as well as collaborations with shoe brands DCs, Zoo York, and G Shock.

The above-mentioned items – and more – will be auctioned online as the trio’s tour continues. It’s live now until Sunday, 22 March, at 8:30 pm AEDT.

Additionally, punters heading to the group’s sold-out Adelaide shows tonight and tomorrow can view some of the rare pieces in person, while fans across the country can participate online and bid on the items here.

Hilltop Hoods are touring in support of their latest album, last year’s Fall From The Light. The album broke multiple ARIA Chart records: debuting at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, Australian Artist Album Chart, Hip-Hop Album Chart, and Vinyl Chart. Fall From The Light marked Hilltop Hoods’ sixth consecutive and seventh overall #1 ARIA Album.

They also set a new ARIA record for the Most #1 Albums by an Australian Group, surpassing records previously held by AC/DCPowderfingerCold Chisel, and Silverchair.

Following their hometown shows, the trio will perform huge shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (27-28 February), Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (6-7 March), Brisbane Entertainment Centre (13-14 March), and Perth’s RAC Arena (21 March).

Most shows are sold out, with only final tickets remaining for two nights. You can secure last-minute tickets here.
