Full Tilt Festival Melbourne Rescheduled

Moving to October.

The Melbourne Full Tilt Festival is moving to October.

The national heavy metal, rock and punk festival was due to take place on 3 July at Coburg Velodrome, but has now been postponed due to ongoing affects of the circuit-breaker lockdown and subsequent crowd capacity restrictions.

"It’s another crushing blow but due to the COVID-19 extended lockdown in Victoria and current density restrictions for outdoor concerts we have been left with no choice but to reschedule the Melbourne leg of Full Tilt..." said organisers today.

Almost all of the original lineup has been confirmed for the event including Northlane, The Bennies, Frenzal Rhomb, Hands Like Houses and stacks more.

Unfortunately due to the date change, Thy Art Is Murder are no longer able to perform at the Melbourne event. However, Tassie thrashers Psycroptic have been announced in their stead.

All tickets purchased for the original event will remain valid without the need for transfer or customer changing.

The news comes just weeks after organisers were forced to postpone the festival's Brisbane leg due to restrictions.

Full Tilt Melbourne will kick off at Burnley's Reunion Park on Saturday, 23 October. For full lineup and ticket details, head over to theGuide.
