American rock band Falling In Reverse have announced the cancellation of their UK tour dates due to visa issues related to controversial frontman Ronnie Radke.
The band, who were set to kick off a seven-date tour of the UK on Wednesday, December 4th, announced the news via their Instagram Stories early this morning.
"We regret to announce that the home office has denied Ronnie's visa application for the remaining 2024 UK shows,” the band wrote. “The UK is currently refusing entry to visa applicants who served more than 12 months of prison time, as Ronnie did in 2008."
"Therefore, we will not be able to come to the UK this month to perform the shows we were greatly looking forward to.”
The group have noted the dates will be postponed to next year while they “continue to work through this issue legally to obtain the necessary visa,” though no new dates have been announced at the time of writing.
The legal issues mentioned in the group's announcement relate to a 2006 incident in which plead guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm following the death of 18-year-old Michael Allen Cook. Radke was placed on probation for as a result, but after violating his probation he was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.
