Radiohead Announce 2027 Australian Tour

After teasing fans via mysterious postcards over the past week, Radiohead have announced they’ll return to Australia next year.

The band’s May and June shows will mark their first visit in 15 years, and will see them play four nights at RAC Arena, Perth from May 3, before playing six shows at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne from May 13, and six shows at Afterpay Arena, Sydney from May 25.

Given Radiohead’s return will be one of hottest tickets of the year, it’s no surprise that Frontier Touring and Chugg Entertainment are aiming to “minimise automated and unauthorised purchases” and will be managing ticket sales through a registration process, with fans able to sign up now.

With numerous shows being announced in each city, the registration form notes: “You will be able to purchase a maximum of four (4) tickets for one show city only, to allow as many people as possible to attend. You must only register once, using your own, correct details. Enter your details carefully as they cannot be corrected later.”

Registration will close at 5pm AEST this Thursday, Sept 10, with promoters noting that “every registration completed during this period will be treated the same no matter what time it is received”.

$2 from each ticket sale will go to Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society, with Radiohead committing to match the total amount raised with their own donation.

Radiohead last toured Australia in 2012 – in support of their 2011 album, The King Of Limbs. However, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist Thom Yorke visited Australia for a solo tour in 2024, where he debuted material from a new collaborative album with Mark Pritchard.
