Alex WarrenAlex Warren could have seriously hurt himself in an attempt to greet as many fans as possible at Rod Laver Arena on Friday night (4 September).
The Ordinary hitmaker posted a video to his Instagram in which he’s somehow standing on the barrier where fans’ seats are, and they’re gathered around him. He attempts to jump down from the awkward position, but slips and falls from production equipment.
The American singer-songwriter went for it from the barrier and landed on the metal production equipment. Warren then tried to make it to the ground when he slipped, lost his footing, tumbled and landed on his shoulder and the side of his face.
The singer looked unhurt, though, and quickly showed his sense of humour. “They told me to break a leg before the show,” he captioned the clip.

Alex Warren is currently promoting his just-released new album, WILDCHILD. His Australian tour has also featured surprises, including an appearance from Robert Irwin in Brisbane.
Irwin was invited to join Warren on stage to press the “confetti button” – a tradition at his shows in which a fan or famous special guest brings a large button to the stage, leading to an explosion of confetti towards the end of his concerts.
After his initial appearance on stage, met with ecstatic cheers from the audience, Irwin pressed the red button to even more applause. He jumped up and down beside Warren as the singer performed his song, FEVER DREAM.
Before he left the stage, Irwin showed Warren – and thousands of fans in the audience – his dancing skills, dropping to the ground and performing the worm.
Warren’s Finding Family on the Road Australian tour began with a three-night stint at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena in late August. Due to extraordinary demand, additional dates were announced for multiple cities.
It continued with two nights at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, followed by three shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (4-6 September). The shows conclude with sold-out performances at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena (9 September) and Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 12 September.
