Just after announcing their highly anticipated second album, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View, Perth rockers DICE have announced an expansive 18-show national tour.

Beginning at Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday, 8 August, the tour continues with dates in Hobart, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns, the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Torquay, Melbourne, and Perth, before concluding the run at Dunsborough Tavern on Saturday, 12 September.

You can find the full list of tour dates below. Pre-sale tickets will be available from Tuesday, 26 May, at 10 am local time, followed by the general sale on Thursday, 28 May, at 10 am local time. Sign up for updates and more information on the Destroy All Lines website.

Last week, DICE announced details about their upcoming second album and released the first official single, Loose Change, following the release of the single COOLER.

I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View is scheduled for release on Friday, 31 July, via Tone City Records / Virgin Music Group. The album follows 2024’s Midnight Zoo and the band’s 2025 WINGS EP.

According to a press release, the album moves away from the grit of their debut, Midnight Zoo, and embraces brighter, more euphoric sounds. The ten-track album has been described as a “windows down anthem for radical self-reflection and liberation, capturing a band finally flying at their own altitude.”

The first single, Loose Change, was born from a voice note and refined in LA with G Flip, with 11-time Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The White Stripes) bringing its energy to life.

Loose Change is about taking risks and getting out from the safety net to achieve what you set out for,” the band commented in a statement. “This track is a nice reminder that it’s all a matter of the mind and anybody can achieve what they strive for.”
