The long-awaited new album from Aussie favourite Courtney Barnett has been announced.

A follow-up to 2018’s Tell Me How You Really Feel, the singer-songwriter's third LP, Things Take Time, Take Time, will drop on November 12 via Milk! Records/Remote Control Records.

Written over two years across Sydney and Melbourne, the new collection of songs has been described as “a finely woven collage of snapshots recorded at a time of creative renewal and deeper understanding”.

Fans have also today been treated to lead single and album opener Rae Street, which you can listen to here - and you can also check it out below.

Courtney Barnett documentary Anonymous Club, which tracks the meteoric rise of the Melbourne artist, will premiere at Melbourne International Film Festival next month.

The singer-songwriter was also recently confirmed to perform at Spain's Primavera Sound in 2022.
