The 1975's Matty Healy has teased an acoustic charity show during the band's tour of the country next month.

Appearing on his Instagram Stories, Healy addressed the fact he hadn't spoken about the Australian bushfire crisis yet and expressed his desire to perform an acoustic set with all proceeds being donated to charity.

Despite this, he did confirm nothing had been planned or booked in.

"Hi guys, only me," the video starts.

"I'm doing an acoustic gig for a charity in Australia. I haven't planned it yet or booked it or anything. I haven't spoken about Australia yet so that's what we're going to do. We're going to sell tickets. I'm going to try play all the acoustic-y kind of songs. It might just be me or me and one of the guys or something like that. But that's what we're going to do. So I think it'll probably be in Sydney and yeah."

Healy ended the video speculating he would do other acoustic events around the world throughout the year.

"Obvs the money raised is for charity's dealing with the fires soz I wasn't specific [sic]," a still after the video read.

The UK outfit will hit Australia next month as the headliners of the 2020 Laneway Festival events.

Healy made headlines last week hitting back after Maroon 5 alleged The 1975 had plagiarised their artwork for new single, Me & You Together Song.
