Fat Wreck Chords have announced that NOFX will be releasing a split with Seattle's The Spits on November 23. The split is set to contain two brand new songs from each band, and the records will only be available in a limited number.

New York based band As Tall As Lions have announced that they will be calling it a day after playing three final shows in December.

The drummer from Boston’s pop punk band Boys Like Girls was arrested last week for breaking and entering into a vehicle.John Keefe was arrested outside his home after having a dispute with his neighbour about the noise of a cleaning van parked outside his building.Police were told that the drummer opened the van several times and turned off the carpet cleaning equipment that was powered by a loud generator.Keefe has been released without bail after pleading innocent and is due back in court in December.
