We Came As Romans are barely 5 years old and are already taking the hardcore/screamo world by storm. Already having released 2 EP’s and a full length album titled 'To Plant a Seed' which dropped in 2009, Michigan local boys We Came As Romans are definitely a band on the up and up and one to keep an eye on hopefully with a new album to come in the new year. Making their debut appearance in Australia for December’s ‘No Sleep Til' Festival, We Came As Romans are bound to recruit some new Australian fans with their own style of Pop-Metal. Lead guitarist Joshua Moore took some time out to answer a few questions.

Misser, the solo project of Transit guitarist and vocalist Tim Landers has posted pre-orders for his debut release. The release comes in the form of a four song tape, featuring three original tracks and an Archers Of Loaf cover.

Recently reunited pop punk band Yellowcard have announced that they have completed recording their fifth studio album. The band's front man Ryan Key posted the following message in a myspace blog.

Ohio based metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada have announced via their twitter page that they have started writing material for their fourth studio album.

The Receiving End Of Sirens have posted a new song onto the Absolutepunk website. The song "Weightless Underwater" was recently recorded by the band, and features all band members.

Californian death metal band All Shall Perish have announced that the band has begun working on material for their fourth album.

Melbourne based band City Escape have confirmed recent rumours that the band will be calling it a day after a final run of shows in November.

Coliseum have posted the new music video for their song "Skeleton Smile", the track which features Bonnie "Prince" Billy. The song is taken from the band's latest record, "House With A Curse", which is out now through Temporary Residence.

Boston based punk band Smoke Or Fire have posted a stream of their new album. The album is titled "The Speakeasy", which will be released on November 9 through Fat Wreck Chords.

Originally formed with members of both Means and Saints Never Surrender, hardcore/punk quintet, Continuance have recently announced their split.  It comes after the release of debut studio album, 'Carry Ourselves' early this year, the only CD to be issued through Rise Records.  The group offered the following words towards their decision: "The time has come to announce what most of you probably already know or have guessed. Continuance is calling it quits. We had a great time the past year and a half playing music with and for many great friends. We want to thank each one of you who has supported us in any way, all the bands we shared the road with and friends across the continent (you will be greatly missed!), and especially our families for their endless support."
