Suicide Silence to enter the studio
Californian based metal band Suicide Silence have announced that they will be entering the studio shortly with producer Steve Evetts to record their new album - to be released in mid 2011 through Century Media Records. Official press release can be read below: "Suicide Silence has dominated the metal world since arriving on the scene back in 2005. Almost immediately, the Riverside natives caught fire and have been a five-piece force of destruction, bludgeoning fans across the world with the strength of their two full-length records. Bury Your Dead front man quits
Bury Your Dead front man Myke Terry has announced that he is no longer a part of the band, and that the band's new label Mediaskare Records has replaced him in the band with former vocalist Mat Bruso.The official press release can be read below:"Myke Terry continues recording new music as an independent artist in the wake of his unplanned departure as frontman of Bury Your Dead in late-2010. The band, on hiatus since April of 2010, recently began work on a new album to be released on Mediaskare Records. This sudden exit is the outcome of stalled contract negotiations between Bury Your Dead founder, Slim, and Mediaskare Records, which after careful review by Terry's management team, were not in his best interest. Mayday Parade to begin pre-production
Mayday Parade have announced that they will soon begin pre-production for their new album. The band posted the following blog: "Hey guys, I tried to make a video blog for this but for some reason my audio wouldn’t work but the video part would. Being that I don’t know any sign language, I’m resorting to writing what I was going to tell you in a blog. Things are great where we are. The weather could be better but I can’t complain. We’re down at the beach near Panacea, Florida writing for our new record which is currently untitled. We’ve got 9 songs that the band currently knows how to play and more in the the vault that still need to be learned.
