The tour supports for The Classic Crime's upcoming Australian tour have been announced. As previously announced, Sydney's Chemical Transport will be supporting the band on all dates.

Prosthetic Records has signed Chicago, IL death metal quintet, Black September. The band, who formed in 2006 based on their love of acts such as Bolt Thrower, His Hero Is Gone and Bathory, amongst others, has released several EPs and self released their debut full length, 'The Forbidden Gates Beyond,' last year. Prosthetic will re-release "The Forbidden Gates Beyond," this summer.

Los Angeles based death metal outfit The Faceless have announced the addition of a new bassist, with former Animosity member Evan Brewer stepping in to fill the vacant spot.

Life On Repeat have announced a release date for their debut album, 'Struggle + Sleep.' The record will be available on June 14 through Equal Vision. The album was recorded by Taylor Larson (Sky Eats Airplane, Of Legends) and the first single, Wide Awake, will be released on May 3.

Trivium's guitarist Matt Heafy has checked in with a studio update on facebook and twitter and says that recording is very near completion.

Opeth have parted ways with keyboardist Per Wiberg after what the band has said was a mutual decision. A replacement has already been chosen and is to be revealed at a later date.
