Xibalba are one of  the most abrasive bands coming out Southern California since NAILS were unleashed upon audiences, gaining an underground following after the release of their cd 'Madre Mia Gracias Por Los Dias' and the 'Earthquake 3- Way Split' with peers Ruckus and World of Pain. Having just released a Self Titled 12" compilation on the notorious A389 label, we caught up with singer Nate and talked about beer, influences, their band name and Xibalba's future plans.

Leatherface) who are making their first ever visit to Australia. Having already released 2 brilliant records and played alongside the likes of The Gaslight Anthem and Lucero over the past few years, Former Cell Mates are currently touring through Europe in support of their new album 'Presented As A Work Of Fiction' (Poison City). Heading up most dates will be Melbourne's sonic-rock foursome A Death In The Family who'll be stretching their touring legs for the first time since their European jaunt with Samiam late in 2010. Cleveland, OH metal/hardcore band Ringworm has begun work on their fifth full-length album, titled 'Scars.'

The Chariot headlining show scheduled for Wednesday 20th April originally at the Old Museum has now been moved to Sun Distortion located at 2/24 Corunna St, Albion just a short 5 min train from the city to Albion Station and a two minute walk from Albion Station to the venue. New York death metal band Skinless has decided to call it quits after nearly twenty years together. Since their formation, the band has featured a heap of members and put out a handful of releases, primarily through Relapse Records.

Barely Blind have posted their 2009 EP, 'My Life With A Giant,' as a free download on their Facebook page while the band work on their upcoming full-length.
