The San Antonio, TX based quintet, Upon A Burning Body, have been busy holed up the last couple of months writing their much anticipated sophomore full-length release. However, being the road dogs that they are look for them to perform a few select shows throughout August to road test some new material before hitting the studio to track the new disc.

Coheed And Cambria bass player Michael Todd was arrested before the band's show opening for Soundgardern for armed robbery after he held up a Walgreens store by claiming he had a bomb. According to police in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Todd showed a pharmacist working in the store a cell phone note that said he had a bomb and demanded Oxycontin. He made off with six bottles of pain pill and fled the store via taxi. Police say he was spotted in the cab and police were able to track it via the dispatcher to the Comcast Center where Coheed and Cambria were set to open up for Soundgarden. Todd was then arrested without incident after he was identified by the cab driver, the pharmacist and by store surveillance video. He was later charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of prescription narcotics and is being held on $10,000 bail and will be arraigned on Monday morning.

Decapitated are widely acknowledged as one of the most important bands in contemporary metal. Having returned from hiatus in 2009, the reformed band is about to release Decapitated's fifth studio album, "Carnival Is Forever". We caught up guitarist and all-round musical extraordinaire Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka to talk about the new album, the state of music in their home country Poland and plans to return to Australia.

Frenzal Rhomb have posted another new song onto their Facebook page. The song "Mummy Doesn't Know You're A Nazi" is taken from the band's new album "Smoko At The Pet Food Factory", which will be released on August 19 through Shock Records.
