Australia, Strange Talk is back! After a decade, the indie synth-pop duo returns for exclusive shows at Melbourne’s Bergy Bandroom (April 19th) and Sydney’s Bootleggers (April 26th). This is the "Luna" Tour, celebrating their new EP and a long-awaited homecoming.
"Luna," released November 2024, is a fresh chapter for Strange Talk. It's a soundscape from their travels and collaborations in Stockholm and Tokyo, capturing each city's essence. Expect modern indie synth-pop, with nostalgic pop, electronica, and introspective lyrics.
Fans can relive classic hits from “Strange Talk”, "Cast Away" and "E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N," and for the first time in Australia, experience "Speech Therapy" live. "Luna" showcases Strange Talk's evolution, painting sonic portraits from Tokyo's nightlife to Swedish landscapes.
Strange Talk's music has graced hit TV shows like "Glee" and "90210," worldwide campaigns for Gucci and Sony, and even major films like "That Awkward Moment" and "The Intern." Their tracks have also been featured in popular video games like "Need for Speed" and "Sleeping Dogs." This extensive exposure is a testament to the band’s broad appeal and their ability to create music that resonates with diverse audiences.
Adding to the excitement, joining Strange Talk on tour will be New Zealand's acclaimed indie-pop duo, Foley, and Melbourne's own rising star, Sab Sagastume.
