The to re-release album in the States
The music is confident and tight; Gillan Gregory’s guitar solos are particularly impressive.
“Being a debut record, we don’t know how to feel about it, we’ve lived with it for so long – all the reviews have been really encouraging so far."
Unlike a lot of their indie dance contemporaries, Strange Talk are joyously upbeat at all times, unashamed to toss a little cheese into the mix and pummel us with beats that irresistibly lead to the dancefloor.
Touring with the record in March, Strange Talk are likely to gather a large crowd and impress with their electronic prowess.
The UK band enjoy their best ever chart positions
The electro-pop band will showcase their LP 'Cast Away'.
“I guess a lot of bands say they head off and get in touch with their spiritual side or whatever the reason, but for us it was just a different location and it helped us craft where we were going."
The album does fall into its groove a little too quickly, and certain songs (Visions) aren’t needed at all, so the 45-minute effort does manage to somehow feel overlong.
