Underground rap sensation OsamaSon is heading to Australia next month for his first-ever headline tour of the country.
Renowned for his aggressive, distortion-led brand of trap-meets-rap, the South Carolina-raised artist has amassed a cult following that’s taken him to the world stage – he’s appeared at Rolling Loud – and on extensive tours across the US.
His sound is built for chaotic rooms, and with a growing catalogue that pushes the boundaries of modern rap, OsamaSon is an innovator in today's rap scene. Now, Australian fans can experience his unforgettable show.
The highly anticipated tour begins at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Saturday, 10 October. The takeover continues at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday, 11 October, and concludes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday, 14 October.
Tickets to all shows are now available – head to the Live Nation Australia website for more details.
OsamaSon’s album, Jump Out, released last year, debuted at #151 on the Billboard 200 and received plenty of critical acclaim. It earned a Best New Music nod on Pitchfork, as well as universal acclaim from Rolling Stone, XXL, Complex, PAPER, and the FADER.
His latest release, Psykotic, was released less than a year later, after being recorded during his 20-date Jump Out tour across the US. It debuted at #81 on the Billboard 200.
By releasing both albums in the same year, OsamaSon has drawn comparisons to DMX and Future for embracing two sonically independent releases in a twelve-month period. At just 23 years of age, the rising star has solidified himself as a leader of the next generation of underground rap.
