The Avalanches Announce 2027 Australian Tour

“We’re crazy excited to be back on home soil playing these shows in Australia,” The Avalanches said.

Australian electronic music pioneers The Avalanches are hitting the road in early 2027. They’ve just announced an expansive national tour in support of their forthcoming album, No Bad Memories.

The tour begins with a two-night stint at the East Perth Power Station as part of next year’s Perth Festival – a new date was just added due to demand – on Saturday, 27 and Sunday, 28 February.

The shows continue at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday, 4 March, Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens for the Live at the Gardens series on Friday, 5 March, Brisbane’s Cultural Forecourt at South Bank for the 2027 QPAC On the Banks program on Saturday, 6 March, and conclude at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Sunday, 7 March.

The general sale opens on Tuesday, 6 October, at 9 am local time via The Avalanches’ website.

“We’re crazy excited to be back on home soil playing these shows in Australia,” the trio shared. They continued, “We can’t wait to be back in a room with people and seeing where the night takes us. We’ve got a lot of new music we’re excited to play, alongside some old favourites, and we can’t wait to spend a few nights making some beautiful noise and memories together.”

The tour announcement arrives ahead of the release of The Avalanches’ upcoming album, No Bad Memories, set for Friday, 16 October.

So far, they’ve released the singles Together with Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza and Prentiss, Every Single Weekend with Jamie xx, Blue Shadows with Karen O, Can’t Get Over Losing You with Portraits of Tracy and Far Away with John Glacier and Khadija Al Hanafi.

The album’s tracklist also includes collaborations with Faith No More’s Mike Patton, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Barry Can’t Swim, actor Haley Joel Osment, and more. You can pre-order/pre-save No Bad Memories here.

Joining The Avalanches on tour is Australian-born, London-based artist HAAi, whose music blends club sounds, experimentation, and leftfield electronic touches. Her upcoming album, DIGITiSE, drops on Friday, 9 October, via Mute Records.
