This October, we’re taking over Distillery Road Market for an afternoon dedicated to one of Germany’s greatest exports: beer. Grab your mates and settle in for six hours of steins, live music, German-inspired food, games and plenty of Prost-ing inside our dedicated Oktober Fest precinct.

And yes, we want to see you dressed for it. Dust off the lederhosen, pull out the dirndl and embrace your best Bavarian alter ego as there’ll be prizes up for grabs, so don’t hold back.

And your first 500ml beer? It’s included in your ticket.

We’re bringing out two new brews from Perentie plus three German-inspired lagers brewed by our Gold Coast mates at Burleigh Brewing.

NEW: GOLDEN LAGER | 4.7% ABVA full-strength lager with toasted biscuit and a smooth caramel finish.

NEW: KEMURI | 5.1% ABVA traditional Bamberg-style Rauchbier with beechwood smoke and toasted malt. Smoky, distinctive and made for Oktoberfest.

MUNICH HELLES | 4.6% ABVSoft-finishing, crisp and refreshing, the kind of lager made for a stein.

HEFEWEIZEN | 5.3% ABVA classic German-style wheat beer with notes of banana, clove and vanilla.

DUNKEL | 5% ABVA dark lager with gentle roasted malt, chocolate and nutty notes.

Crisp and refreshing, dark and malty, wheat beer or something smoky, there’ll be a beer for every kind of beer drinker.
