Is Hayley Williams Teasing An Australian Tour?

Hayley Williams, singer of the US rock band Paramore, has never performed her solo shows in Australia. Now, it looks like that's about to change.

Scrolling Instagram today, you might have seen the accounts for Forum Melbourne and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre share a teaser for a tour announcement.

Both photos feature lyrics from Hayley Williams’ 2020 song, Dead Horse, on the boards outside the venue. The caption? A star emoji, pointing to lyrics from her 2025 song, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

Adding to the speculation, tour promoter Frontier Touring suspiciously commented on the Enmore Theatre post. A tour announcement could arrive any day now; this mirrors the strategy used before Slayyyter announced a run of Australian shows earlier this year.

Hayley Williams, singer of the US rock band Paramore, has never performed her solo shows in Australia. She recently wrapped up her Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party tour, showcasing songs solely from her 2025 album of the same name, and is currently on her The Hayley Williams Show run.

The singer and multi-instrumentalist is currently touring across North America, with the shows ending next month. In November, she heads to South America, with additional shows in Mexico in January. From February until 7 June, she has an empty schedule. Her June and July shows will take her across the UK and Europe.

The Hayley Williams Show features songs from Williams’ three solo albums: Petals for Armor (2020), FLOWERS for VASES / descansos (2021), and last year’s Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

Last August, Williams shared 17 random singles via her Good Dye Young haircare brand’s website, allowing fans to download and share the tracks for free.

Following the songs’ release, fans made their own track listings and created the website hayleysingles.com, where thousands of devotees shared their preferred album order.

Williams then formatted the songs, dropped another three tracks – the heartbreaker Parachute, plus the groovy Good Ol’ Days and Showbiz – and released them as an official album called Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

Williams wrote, played, and recorded numerous instruments on the album. Daniel James produced the record, with additional production from Jim-E Stack and contributions from longtime Paramore collaborators Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party arrived after Williams spent over 20 years fulfilling a contract with Atlantic Records—an agreement she signed as a teen.

In December 2023, Paramore revealed that they’d gone independent after releasing their sixth album, This Is Why. Williams’ latest solo record is the first to be self-released through her independent venture, Post Atlantic, with distribution from Secretly Distribution.
