Madness Detail 2027 Australian Tour Dates

Madness return to Australia for the first time in a decade, and to New Zealand for the first time in 46 years.

Madness are finally returning to Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2027.

The English ska and pop outfit haven’t visited our shores since 2017. For New Zealand, the wait has been even longer: Madness return for the first time in 46 years; they last performed on the North Island in 1981.

The Australian tour begins at Fremantle’s Palace Foreshore on Saturday, 27 February. It continues at Brisbane’s On The Banks series on Tuesday, 2 March, the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Friday, 5 March, WOMADelaide on Sunday, 7 March, and concludes at Melbourne’s Palace Foreshore on Tuesday, 9 March.

Following the Australian run, the New Zealand leg begins at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, 12 March. It concludes at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Saturday, 13 March.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 23 September, at 9 am local time, followed by the general sale on Thursday, 24 September, at 9 am local time. Head to the Handsome Tours website for more ticketing information.

Madness also recently reissued their first five albums: One Step Beyond…, Absolutely, 7, The Rise & Fall, and Keep Moving, just in time for the Australian and New Zealand dates.

Their latest album, Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie, was released in 2023. It reached #1 in the UK—their first album in 45 years to reach that milestone.
