What?

Hazel Mei:

Striking the perfect balance between that familiar pop sound and something sharply unconventional, you’ll know when you've heard a Hazel Mei track. As you bask in an array of dreamy, carefully-crafted soundscapes, listeners will soon notice that Hazel Mei’s music is both timeless and truly unforgettable. Whilst she turns her innermost thoughts into relatable hits, the rising talent aims to make a positive impact on the industry with her inspiring and candid narratives.

Hazel has been recognised as a finalist in the Environmental Music Prize in 2023 alongside acts like Flume and Xavier Rudd. Her music has frequented the top five on AMRAP Metro charts and has received glowing reviews from the likes of Happy Mag, AAA Backstage, and more. Having already sold out shows across Brisbane, and supported the likes of Annie Hamilton and Keli Holiday, Hazel Mei is proving she can wow from stereo to stage. Making all the right moves to become the next big Australian talent, Hazel Mei is a force to be reckoned with and is headed straight for the top.

KIORE:

KIORE is a Brisbane born artist with a heart that reaches the farthest corners of the earth. Inspired by the sounds and stories around and within, every song she writes aims to be an experience that can be shared, treasured and celebrated. Fostering a community spirit is crucial to KIORE's creative process, as is reflecting the proud roots of her Maori and Cook Islander heritage. Her songwriting prowess has been recognised on a local and international level through performing in various local festivals (Caloundra Music Festival 2021, Brisbane Festival 2023, Kurilpa Derby 2023 and 2025, Laura St Festival 2024) and as part of Michelle Obama’s 2021 Signing Day ceremony.

KIORE’s style verges on genres in her self-proclaimed style of “Heart and Soul”, which encompasses a fusion of anything from Soul, RnB, Pop, Jazz and Funk to create a dynamic, interactive soundscape for her audience. Her essence and direction aims to continue along a journey of discovering and uncovering, listening and speaking stories that are underpinned by various musical scapes and explorations.
