Jamie Hay & Liam White return to Melbourne after a successful national tour earlier this year supporting their new record "Sunset Months". The new album, Sunset Months, marks Hay's first solo release since 2012’s King of the Sun. A long-awaited return that feels both grounded and expansive. This time with longtime friend and collaborator Liam White at the forefront.

Written during a time of reflection and change, Sunset Months is Hay at his most hopeful. “Many of the songs deal with navigating grief and difficult times,” he shares, “but there is always a positive outlook within them. I guess in a way, they’re reminders to myself that while times get tough, things will be ok.” It's quite the task getting Jamie & Liam (as well as their Mandolin / Acoustic Guitar accompanist Mark Jennings) in the room together with all members being spread between Newcastle, Hobart & Melbourne. When they do get together however, it's an elevated experience of Hay's songs, definitely a set not to miss if you like folk / punk songs with grit and heart. When the duo played Melbourne earlier this year in March, their show sold out so don't snooze on the tickets people!Joining Jamie & Liam on this show is long time friend Jess Locke, a Melbourne local and renowned songwriter of indie pop instant classics.
