"To sincerely contribute to the awesome story of Australian music was one of my highest hopes," Ninajirachi says of her prestigious win.

Ninajirachi, Floodlights, Tropical F*ck Storm, Divide And Dissolve, and five other artists have formed this year's Australian Music Prize shortlist.

“This year’s nominees are living proof that Australian artists are shaping the global cultural narrative in real time,” said ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd.

Aussies share the Coachella 2026 bill with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G.

"I just hope that people will give it a listen from start to finish and find something that they like on there," Australian DJ, producer, and vocalist Ninajirachi tells The Music.
