The Kite String Tangle (also known as TKST) is the solo project of Brisbane-based alternative electronic artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Danny Harley. Harley launched the project in 2012 and released an EP titled Vessel in 2014. He has since issued four studio albums: The Kite String Tangle in 2017, The Kite String Tangle Presents: In a Desperate Moment in 2018, C()D3X in 2020, and Lustre in 2023.

Kilter surprises with a rad d'n'b-leaning remix for TKST.. Last Friday saw the release of Kilter's ReShades LP, a collection of remixes that Kilter has compiled over the year alongside some of his own original tunes being remixed by others. And following on from the remixes of AMTRAC and Hermitude, Kilter has delivered a roaring remix of Kite String Tangle’s Stone Cold. Performed live for the first time at Listen Out earlier this year, Kilter’s remix gives Kite String Tangle’s single an energetic reinterpretation, packed full of busy drum work, a great synth melody and a menacing bass line which throws a little drum'n'bass into the mix which should - and has been - getting peeps jumping up. New Music: Kilter - ReShades (Minimix)
Kilter shares an LP of sorts featuring unheard remixes and originals.. Over the past year we've been big fans of Kilter with the release of his single They Say and we even got round to doing a sneaky video interview with the man. And now Kilter has just released a minimix of an upcoming release that could be termed as an LP featuring remixes that Kilter has compiled over the year alongside some original work. The release sees Kilter remix original tracks by Odesza , Rufus and The Kite String Tangle to name a few. It also features remixes of Kilter's original tracks including a drum and bass re-work of Coward by Akouo, and a Paces remix of Hold Me alongside some other remixes.
