CARMADA Text Message Interview
Bangers and bung eyes with Carmada.. We hope you enjoy this text message interview with the slightly-longer-haired half of bass music bros Carmada. Since officially joining forces last year as Carmada, Max Armata (Yahtzel) and Drew Carmody (L D R U) have been absolutely killing it. Their debut single Maybe is probably gonna poll quite damn well in the upcoming triple j Hottest 100, and their debut EP Realise very much caught the attention of one Sonny Moore, known to most as Skrillex, who opted to release via his OWSLA label (but the EP HERE). Basically, 2014 was huge, and 2015 is shaping up to be twice as large, and we caught up with Yahtzel towards the end of last year to try and get our heads around a crazy few months, discuss new shorts fashion, and also take the opportunity to share candid photos of L D R U's bung eye. WA kids will get the chance to throw down with Carmada on an island at CASTAWAY, Sunday 15 February - details HERE. Follow Carmada: FACEBOOK / WEBSITE

Carmada - Maybe
LDRU & Yahtzel be droppin' bombs.. The unholy union of Yahtzel and LDRU is officially official, with the release of their first single, Maybe. In their solo form they've never held back from the bangers, but Carmada feels like an outlet where they just get to cut loose away from any expectations themselves as individual may face. Serious business within. You can buy it HERE, with the EP it's from, Realise, due mid-November. Carmada launches live at the upcoming Stereosonic festivals. Follow Carmada: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Following the release of The Only One earlier THIS YEAR and a bunch of tours together including Splendour In The Grass, CIRCO Festival and Stereosonic upcoming in November, they've given their duo form a name... Meet Carmada and their debut EP Realise (pre-order HERE) featuring the single Maybe, which you can get a taste of in this fist-pumping teaser below: Follow Carmada: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Friday Freebie: LDRU - Give It All
It may be winter, but LDRU's latest takes us back to the tropics.. LDRU has been pushing the tropical vibes since day dot pretty much, but even still his new single Give It All still feels like a complete breath of fresh air. Epically fun, bouncy riddims bang around some ragga vibes - it screams summer, it screams good vibes, and it is far and away the most fun I've seen our current glut of killer young producers have on a track in a long time. Get around the free download below, make yourself a pina colada and dream of the beach. Follow LDRU on FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD
