There’s some really key scenes centred on communication, and for a while you think there’s the possibility that these two people could coexist, and if they could have, we could have had a very different history.

While a wonderfully sassy and shamelessly tacky summer romp it may be, it does not quite reach the heights (low culture can get there!) that Nicolazzo’s previous work as a director has hinted at.

As a show that started late and goes for well over an hour, it starts to drag.

"It’s just like: let’s just look back on the things that we did and we can do it with everyone involved, everyone knows, and that’s a good feeling. I think that’ll be a good feeling for everybody.”

Tim Roseman’s no-holds-barred direction allows this snappy no-frills comedy to shine.

"I’ve got a piece that I’m starting to develop based around genetics because, as you know, the human genome is starting to head towards being fully coded and now you can take your own genes, that test 23+me, where you can get a full code breakdown of your genetic structure."
