Cho lands jokes about Australian current affairs and stand-offish Australian girls with ease.

Despite a running time of almost two hours, tonight’s show finishes far too quickly. We can only hope they don’t wait another 12 years to return.

While country music may not appeal to everyone – and The Hillbilly Killers are very country – the band is tight, entertaining to watch and they put on a great show.

Ure closes with a taste of what is hopefully to come: Ultravox’s enduring Dancing With Tears In My Eyes.

Knights’ vocals were even more perfect than on record, while the dutiful Paridjanian kept his eyes on the road and played the shit out of his electro-acoustic, leaving Knights to absorb the spotlight.

The group have only a few quirks to sort out (like, you know, a support act) before becoming a country music staple. Just give them some time. And keep Rogers off the Ritalin.

Recent tracks were a delight to hear, bringing a more developed sound to the act. After watching Big Scary this week, June cannot come sooner.

Crushing, chaotic, sometimes even kinda catchy - a very solid release from start to finish.
