Twist it, lick it, dunk it with Wax Witches new track, 'Oreo'.

Overall, this album is striking; however, it’s not stunning. And while the band have clearly made an effort to amble down new paths, they continue to do so through the soul and sound of one man.

After listening through it in full and getting a few great moments, the only thing that seems to be missing is the ‘Mr Nice Guy’ of rap smoothly spitting over the NCIS LA theme song.

Absolute hilarity ensued, with an ending that is safe to say, no one was expecting, and closing off a show that has been a definite highlight of the festival.

Genroulette emerged as acting exercises with audience attached, but it also provided the privilege of watching actors at play, and, with its scattering of glowing moments, was still relatively easy to leave with a grin.

Either way you look at the denunciating performance, it can’t be argued that the man has mastered the art of criticising an entire audience whilst simultaneously sending them into utter hysterics.

After a five-song encore rounds things out, you have to agree that for The Gaslight Anthem, right now, business is good.
