SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO and BICEP have teamed up to create a bright & summery yet charmingly deep collaborative effort titled 'Sacrifice'. The track blends wonky, evolving piano stabs with heavy, prominent bass lines to bring about a result that is crisp and ultra classy.
BICEP is a producer / blogger from London about whom not a lot is known, he's been around since 2008 and has recently received widespread blogosphere acclaim for a solid and consistant output of quality music. This release is set to drop June 24 on the DELICACIES label and can be pre-ordered on vinyl now via JUNO or PHONICA.
The SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO lads have been hard at work on the road with tour dates coming up in the UK, Europe and the United States, having just recently performed at the world renowned COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL.
All the way from the deep end of a swimming pool in Germany, the duo were recently featured by VICE & INTEL's series 'The Creators Project' where they were invited to talk through the ins and outs of their unique live setup. There's no press-play stuff here, these guys really know how to bridge the gap between producing a banging studio track and turning it into a living, breathing live experience.
